With more than 5 years of English teaching experience to various age groups and levels, Elena offers private tuition individually crafted to meet your needs and expectations. English for General Purposes from Beginner to Advanced levels, English for academic purposes, Cambridge Exams (KET, PET, FCE, CAE and IELTS) preparation, English for kids and Conversational English (Spoken English) are taught in a communicative way with a variety of interactive activities (both on-line and role-play) and student-centered approach. Elena has a Master’s degree in teaching English and is certified by the University of Cambridge ESOL examinations body and has worked in language schools and universities in culturally diverse environments of Russia and Turkey, which qualifies her as a culturally sensitive teacher yet with many cross-cultural examples to be discussed upon students’ interest. At the heart of Elena’s teaching lies a skills-based approach; thus each class aims at developing several skills – reading, listening, writing and speaking. Grammar and vocabulary exercises are always an integral part of developing each skill.
